The active ingredient of DBNPA-20 is a formulation having a 2,2-dibromo-3-nitropropionamide (DBNPA) content of 20%. Completely miscible with water and are therefore easily dispersed into the system. 2.2-Dibromo-3-Nitrilopropion Amide (DBNPA) is a broad-spectrum and high-efficiency industrial fungicide, a quick-kill biocide. Which easily hydrolyzes under both acidic and alkaline conditions. DBNPA is a fast-acting, non-oxiziding biocide. It has outstanding environmental properties because it is non-persistent and degrades to naturally-occurring products. DBNPA provides efficient, cost-effective microbiological control at low use concentrations.

The formular biocide is mixed of CMIT MIT and DBNPA. It's pecially used for water-based products. Easily soluble in water, most low molecular weight alcohols and ethylene glycol. Suitable application conditions: pH value 2.0-8.5 and temperature not exceeding 60°C.
