IPBC is an oil-soluble bactericide, featuring high efficiency, low toxicity and environmental friendliness. The iodine atoms, proparyne groups and carbamate groups in its molecular structure work together to endow it with powerful antibacterial ability. The steric hindrance effect of the propyne group enhances the permeability of iodine atoms. The carbamate group achieves the gradient release of iodide ions through sustained-release regulation, thereby prolonging the antibacterial effect.
