Copper pyrithione (CPT biocide) is a green fine powder, insoluble in water, and has high stability. It can be stored for a long time under dark conditions. It is a spectral, high-efficiency, low-toxic, environmentally friendly bacteriostatic and biological anti-adhesion agent. Copper pyridone is a broad-spectrum, low-toxic antibacterial and antifungal agent for fungi and bacteria. It has the characteristics of high efficiency and environmental protection.
Antiseptic and mould proofing effects:
Copper pyrithione (CPT biocide) can restrain and sterilize eight moulds, including black mold, aspergillus flavus, aspergillus versicolor, penicillium citrinum, paecilomium varioti bainier, trichoderma viride, chaetomium globasum and cladosporium herbarum; Five bacteria, such as E. Coli, staphylococcus aureus, bacillus subtilis, bacillus megaterium and pseudomonas fluorescence as well as two yeast fungi which are distillery yeast and bakers' yeast.
Application:
Copper Pyrithione (CPT powder) is widely used in civil coatings, adhesives and carpets. It is also used in marine anti-fouling paint for ships to prevent crustaceans and seaweeds, aquatic organisms are attached to the hull plate. Used for architectural coatings, metal processing, chemicals and pesticide fields. Copper Pyrithione has tremendous potential and broad space in pesticide field.
