CMIT MIT 2.5 CG is also Kathon cg. It is Broad-spectrum sterilization, high efficient, Non oxidizing biocide. It could inhibit Fungus, bacteria and mould. No drug resistance occurs. Performance characteristics of CMIT MIT 2.5:

1) Broad-spectrum, long-lasting kill a variety of bacteria, fungi and yeasts, with low dosage.

2) The applicable pH range is wide, both 2-9 can be used.

3) Miscible with water, can be added in any process, easy to operate.

4) Low toxicity, completely harmless when used in concentration.

5) Non-burning, easy to transport and easy to use.

6) Good compatibility with various emulsifiers, surfactants and protein ingredients.

7) It has special effects on Pseudomonas aeruginosa and has been recognized worldwide.

Usage and dosage:

The recommended usage in cosmetics and personal care products such as shampoos, conditioners, shavers, foundations, lotions, creams, baby products, sunscreens and cleansers is 0.05 to 0.2% ( w / w), depending on whether the product is susceptible to microbial attack and the storage environment of the product.

Packaging and storage:

Packed in 25kg, 200kg, 1000kg closed plastic drum.

CMIT MIT 2.5 has a shelf life of one year under dark and room temperature.

Attention:

1) This product should avoid direct contact with eyes. Once in contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water without delay. Do not make prolonged contact with the skin.

2) Do not contact reducing metals such as iron, aluminum, etc. during the storage of the product to avoid product decomposition.

3) This product has poor stability in alkaline media with a pH> 9.0 and should not be used. The compatibility of strong nucleophilic chemicals with this product, such as S2- and R-NH2, will cause the quality of this product to decline, or even completely fail.

Quality Inspection Center

Each lot must be strictly inspected by QA dept. The goods will be allowed to leave factory only after quality qualified. Meanwhile the sample for each lot will be kept in lab at least one year. Before new customers issue order, free sample will be supplied for test. CMIT MIT 14:

Cmit/mit 14 is for acid, water soluble. CMIT/MIT with magnesium salt is stable. And CMIT/MIT with sodium salt isn’t stable. 

Widely used for In water treatment applications, dilute it into a 1.5% aqueous solution first.  Used in field of compliant lotion, building materials, oil field chemical engineering, leather, paint coating and spinning prints to dye, the antisepsis of cosmetics, deckle, the water transaction etc.   

Kathon CG (CMIT/MIT 1.5CG) 

It's globally approved cosmetic preservatives for Rinse-Off Products.such as body washes, conditioners, liquid soaps, shampoos and wipes. Suitable for daily chemical, cosmetics, cleaning agent, water - based coating and other fields.
