DCOIT-30 is clear yellow liquid, With the chemical name of 4.5-DICHLORO-2H-OCTYL-3(2H)-ISOTHIAZOLONE. The active ingredient is 4,5-dichloro-2-n-octyl-3(2H)-isothiazolone, and the solvent is Xylene.
DCOIT is a broad-spectrum fungicide, controlling of bacteria, fungi and algae. Dichloroctylisothiazolinone is widely used in the plastic industry such as Paint,Coating,Polyethylene,polyurethane. Also can be used in the field like Leather,paint,sewage,Paper making, Wooden,adhesive and inks. Can instead of the chemical compound like Poisonous Organic arsenic.
4-5-Dichloro-2-N-Octy-4-Isothiazolin-3-One is widely used as Marine Antifouling Preservatives, which has effective antisepsis, sterilization and algae killing. As marine paint preservatives, It's good effect, cost-effective. The effect is same as the product of SEA NINE-211N.
The recommended amount is 5-15%(w/w).
