Benzisothiazolinone is a new generation of long-acting fungicide without CIT/MIT and AOX. BIT biocide could be used with a wide pH range (4 to 12). And BIT has high resistance oftemperature of 150 °C.

BIT 10 Preservative is a pumpable 9.25% aqueous solution of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one. It's a zero VOC, broad spectrum biocide for the preservation of industrial water-based products against spoilage from bacteria, yeasts and fungi, same as Lonza's Proxel AQ.
