PCMX is a highly effective broad-spectrum antimicrobial and preservative, PCMX can kill most Gram-positive and negative bacteria, fungi and molds. It has the following outstanding features:
White to cream crystals, with Phenolic characteristic odor. PCMX is chemically stable and will not be inactivated under normal storage conditions.
Solubility: It has a solubility of 0.03% in water and is easily soluble in organic solvents such as alcohol, ether, polyglycol, and strong alkali aqueous solutions.
Good stability: PCMX has good stability under normal storage conditions and will not be deactivated.
